Alethys is a societal rating tool designed for buyers, brands and importers to objectively assess the social and environmental practices of any supplier, anywhere in the world.
Unlike self-assessment questionnaires or costly audits, Alethys combines employer-reported data (verifiable by audit) with public territorial indices (ILO, Yale EPI, Anker Research Institute, ITUC, MIPEX) to produce a score out of 100 and a grade from A (excellent) to E (critical).
P1 Water consumption per unit produced · P2 Environmental certifications (GOTS, Rainforest Alliance, ISO 14001, SA8000) · P3 Animal welfare (8 certifications + territorial API bonus) · P4 Territorial pollution (Yale EPI 2024).
T1 Salary vs Anker living wage benchmark — the most discriminating indicator. If the salary falls below 40% of Anker, the overall score is capped at 64 (non-compensation mechanism). · T2 Employment stability & maternity protection · T3 PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) compliance · T4 Legal protection (ITUC, MIPEX, disability).
D1 Training (hours/FTE) · D2 Employee children schooling · D3 Gender parity in management · D4 Public services (water, health, education, social protection).
B1 Grievance mechanism (UN Guiding Principles, Ruggie) — up to +3 pts · B2 Employer-provided services compensating for State shortcomings — up to +10 pts.
